Norway recently held the 58th edition of their national selection show Melodi Grand Prix for the Eurovision Song Contest 2020, crowning Ulrikke Brandstorp as their winner with her song “Attention”. Unlike previous years, Melodi Grand Prix was this year made up of five heats and a grand final to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Norway’s debut in the Eurovision Song Contest.

“Attention” was written by Ulrikke alongside Christian Ingebrigsten, a member of the group A1, and Kjetil Mørland who represented Norway in 2015 alongside Debrah Scarlett. The duo finished in eighth place in the grand final with “A Monster Like Me”
