At only 17 years old, Sabrina Carpenter has already became a household name for thousands of children and young adults across the world. She is perhaps best known for her role as Maya Hart on Girl Meets World, but her talent does not stop there. Having made her album debut just last year, Carpenter has gained a massive fan base through her dedication to her music.
Carpenter has previously spoken about her music and says that it was something she wanted to do from a young age. While she has also dived into acting, music has always been her first love.
Her debut album ‘Eyes Wide Open’ is a perfect example of why there is never a such thing as ‘too young’. Eyes Wide Open features a wide range of feel good songs, while also tying in some of her own life experiences, despite only being 15 when the album was produced. She also co-wrote songs on the album, such as the empowering “Tol Young” which is an empowering song about doing what you know you can even when people tell you that you’re too young. Other songs include Your Love’s Like, Seamless and Right Now.
Carpenter’s newest song ‘On Purpose’ was released July 29th and is perhaps already one of the biggest anthems on 2016. With a catchy rhythm, lyrics that just beg to be sang along to, and a voice that is better than most artists out there right now, On Purpose is the perfect follow up single from her empowering “Smoke And Fire” released earlier this year.
Carpenter is currently doing gigs around America, giving her fans a chance to see and meet her live. Carpenter has never been one to shy away from her fans, constantly interacting with them through her Twitter account @SabrinaAnnLynn. She is passionate, caring and always reminds the fans that her work is for them. It easy for them to relate to such a beautiful, talented young girl.
She has also previously tweeted pictures of her recording sessions and we can admit that we are extremely excited for her second album to drop, whenever that may be.
