Sources told Page Six that they started dating "at least two months ago," but it fizzled out.

"They're just super busy with things," a source said, adding that the breakup was amicable.

Earlier in the year, Wong and Justin Hakuta's divorce was announced after eight years of marriage. They share two children, daughters Mari (born in 2015) and Nikki (born in 2017).

Wong later told The Hollywood Reporter that she and Hakuta are "best friends" and have "a very unconventional divorce."

Hader, who has three daughters named Hannah, Harper, and Hayley from his previous marriage to filmmaker Maggie Carey, was reportedly in a relationship with Anna Kendrick.

Hader and Kendrick played siblings in the 2019 holiday movie "Noelle" and reportedly split in June 2022 after dating for over a year.

In an interview for season four of "Barry," Hader told Collider that he has many ambitions and ideas for projects but could use a break.

"My girlfriend and I were just figuring out that I haven't had a vacation in 10 years," he said. "I went with her to San Francisco, but that doesn't really count. So, I'm going to have a vacation. I need to go into sponge mode, where I'm watching stuff and reading."

April 26, 2023: A source told Us Weekly that Wong and Hader were in a serious relationship.

The source told Us Weekly that that couple was focused on "taking it one day at a time."

It's unclear when Wong and Hader met, but the source pointed to the stars knowing each other for a long time due to their work as comedians.

"They were friends first, nothing serious, but once she was single, the idea of dating became a possibility," the source said. "They were both at a good place in their lives and decided to give it another shot."

Wong told Variety that she found the new interest "weird."

"I have never, ever been snapped by paparazzi until this year," she said.

Wong also said that her return to stand-up comedy was different this time around because of her new relationship.

"It's nice because a lot personally has happened in the past year," she said. "I'm not single now, but I was single for a long time after I got divorced. It was so compelling to talk about my life as a single woman."

In the following months, Wong and the "Saturday Night Live" alum were low-key about their relationship. They were photographed holding hands during an outing in LA in September, and Wong reportedly joked about their relationship during a surprise comedy set that month.

Wong was nominated for her performance as Amy Lau on the Netflix limited series "Beef," while Hader was nominated for his role as Barry Berkman on the HBO series "Barry."

When Wong won her Golden Globes award, she kissed Hader before making her way to the stage. In her acceptance speech, Wong gave Hakuta a shout-out.

"I really need to thank the father of my children and my best friend Justin for all of your love and support," she said. "It's because of you that I'm able to be a working mother."

When Entertainment Tonight later asked Wong about the decision to thank her ex onstage after kissing her boyfriend, she said: "Yeah that's right, I like to keep it peaceful and grateful and amicable."
